These are the infographics I created and originally posted with the Did You Know? social media series. I had trouble posting all of them along with their associated text in my previous two blog posts so I've shared them here in this gallery.  They're in the same order as the text posts in DID YOU KNOW? Social Media Series on ACA/Marketplace Insurance

It has taken a while to get these posted but I had to learn to work with the modules in my HubSpot templates to make it work. I hope to eventually redo the entire thing so they can be posted as intended. I created this series because I feel that there is a real need to debunk inaccuracies that are commonly believed about the Affordable Care Act (ACA)/Obamacare. If you would like to use them or share them, feel free. I'd love it if you would credit me but even if not, please share them just to spread the message.

Facts over fiction to protect the ACA

The Affordable Care Act has done so much good for so many people and to lose it would be devastating for millions of Americans. One of the most important things that we can do to help protect it is to speak up when we hear misinformation about it and correct that misinformation with facts. I've provided links in the text posts to some great sources of accurate information about the ACA. I encourage you to view those and see what else they have to say. The ACA has accomplished so much there was no way I could cover it all in my series but it is all equally important.

Thank you so much for reading and viewing these. I hope that you learned something you didn't already know. I definitely did when I was researching this topic for the series! Check back with my blog soon for more on the ACA, the Marketplace, and anything and everything surrounding the topics.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: This was written/created way before round 2 of the Trump Administration. I'm going to hold my opinions on this for the most part but as I said before, it is so important to get accurate information out there about the ACA, Marketplace coverage and subsidies, and Medicaid.

I don't know anyone who does NOT have a pre-existing condition or someone in their family suffering from one. I know very few people who can afford to go back to the way things were pre-ACA. It must be nice to be able to not care about how many people will wind up abruptly losing coverage with nowhere to turn, since Medicaid is on the chopping block as well. I can't help but think about how many children will be affected by this. Even if they can keep coverage, the entire household will suffer greatly if their parents can't keep theirs. I knew this was coming but it's still terrifying and makes me even more determined to be as vocal as possible to advocate for those who can't speak for themselves. I hope some of you will do the same.
